By accessing or using Lurk ("the Service"), operated by Lurk ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Lurk is a competitor social media tracking service. We monitor publicly available posts on Instagram and TikTok for competitor accounts you designate, and deliver weekly AI-generated digest emails summarizing their activity and engagement.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
Prices are in USD and may change with 30 days' notice.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
You may pause your subscription for up to 30 days instead of cancelling. During a pause, your data is retained but digests are not delivered.
Lurk only monitors publicly available social media posts. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or any non-public content. We do not interact with (like, comment, follow) any accounts on your behalf.
You agree to only track competitor accounts that are publicly accessible. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Digest insights, recommendations, and analysis are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API). This content is for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional marketing, legal, or business advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated insights.
You agree not to:
The Lurk name, logo, design, and software are our property. Competitor post data displayed in digests remains the intellectual property of the original content creators. You may not republish or redistribute digest content commercially.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Social media platform API changes may temporarily affect data collection. We will notify you of any significant service disruptions.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
